The Aces As with a deck of playing cards, the first card in each Tarot suit is known as an ace rather than a "one." The Tarot decks for aces each contain a single image – a cup, a pentacle, a wand or a sword. Unlike the major arcana cards, they do not feature any numbers or words. The aces contain what is known as the "seed" energy of each suit. If you draw an ace, it reveals that the area of your life described by this suit has a strong influence on all the other factors.
